Tecno is poised to debut the much-anticipated Camon 20 series smartphones in India, with the launch event set for May 27. This series encompasses four distinct models: Tecno Camon 20, Camon 20 Pro, Camon 20 Pro 5G, and Camon 20 Premiere. However, only the Camon 20 and Camon 20 Pro 5G are slated for introduction in the Indian market at the forthcoming event. Aesthetically, the standard model will grace the market in Glacier Glow, Serenity Blue, and Predawn Black, while the Pro 5G variant will be available in Serenity Blue and Dark Welkin.
The Camon 20 and Camon 20 Pro 5G are not newcomers in other markets, giving us an insight into their specifications. Both models share comparable features, with unique distinctions evident in their chipset and camera configurations. The Camon 20 leverages the capabilities of the Helio G85 SoC, contrasting the Camon 20 Pro 5G, which comes equipped with the Dimensity 8050 chip.
The camera setup also brings into sharp focus the differences between the two models. Both the Tecno Camon 20 and Camon 20 Pro 5G feature a triple camera arrangement at the rear, led by a 64MP sensor. However, the Camon 20 does not have Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). Additionally, the Camon 20 pairs its 64MP camera with 2MP depth and QVGA sensors, while the Pro 5G model’s 64MP camera is complemented by 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensors.
